Brides Bouquets-Each one special for the bride and her gown

Beautiful bridal bouquets-each one carefully selected with the bride's vision of flowers on her wedding day. Many times adorned with a grandmother's wedding ring, locket of a family member or stems wrapped with a piece of material from her mother's wedding gown.

KATIE AND PRESTON -WEDDING BLISS

Yes, being a wedding planner is fun!!!  Especially when you are blessed to have a bride like Katie and her mom Bette. It was truly a blast from the first meeting. Both bride and mom had visions beyond of what they saw for Katie and Preston's May wedding day at Perkins Chapel-SMU and Arlington Hall at Lee Park.
We set out with a mission to complete our professional team to fulfill their dreams. Keeping in mind Preston's New Orleans influence- by surprising him with  a Mardi Gras cake provided by Frosted Art.
Menu selected with care with the guidance of Food Glorious Food.
Katie presented her Dad after their special father/daughter dance with a photo of her in her gorgeous designer Carolina Herrera wedding gown - sitting on the mule, Jake. A long standing joke between Katie and her father-a tradition of  the bride riding a mule down the streets of Telluride, Colorado on her wedding day.
I must say, it was an adventure itself locating a mule in Dallas, Texas, but we did! As I always tell my brides, I'm their researcher.  What  a fun that day was, with photographer Andrea Polito snapping photos of Katie climbing on the mule to capture the right photo for the surprise.
Arlington Hall was adorned with  amazing flowers and candles provided by Fete Des Fleur's,  accented by special lighting provided by Absolute Lighting to compete the over the top reception.
Ribbon wands held by the guest,  with the band leading them out playing "When the Saints Go Marching In",  sending  Katie and Preston off in style for the beginning of "the rest of their life".

Let's Talk!

Sometimes it's the little dilemmas and unanswered questions about weddings, etiquette and potential bridal party drama that really get us worried and frazzled. We all know how little things can turn into big things if they are not addressed correctly from the beginning. But then the question becomes where to find the answers. Now, there I can help you and would love to help!

You can ask me any wedding question or topic from...
"How do I tell my sorority sisters they cannot bring dates to my wedding?"
to
"Who gives the engagement party and who should be invited?"
from
"We need suggestions and options to compromise when working on the budget and vendors."
to
"Do I understand the protocol and etiquette for addressing invitations, stuffing, mailing, and the guest selection process?"

Anything at all! I'm here to help. I'm ready and willing to let my expertise in this area help move your wedding forward. It's a dollar per minute, and you can find all of the information of setting it up right here! I look forward to helping any of you that need a question or two or many more answered!

Lovely Attendants-in style for the big day

Beautiful  Christine chose the color Black for her attendants which allowed the lovely bouquets to give a "Pop".
Length of the attendant attire is now determined by the bride, not necessarily the time of day of the wedding or formality of the wedding
Tip:
-No matter what length has been chosen, always provide a certain measurement for the hemline of the bridal attendant attire. Such as:
Floor length-  needs to be hemmed 1 1/2 inch from the floor or brushing the top of the big toe.
Mid-calf or short-needs to be a certain length from the ankle or bottom of the knee
 Reasoning:
Provides more consistency for photography- over all appeal- the bridal party at the altar and post ceremony photos- does not draw negative attention if all hemlines are consistent

Also, for inspiration, I advise brides to look at Style Me Pretty's blog for more attendant attire ideas. Here are four different clever ways brides thought through their attendant's attire:

Show Stopper Attendant Attire To Add to the Beauty of the Special Day

Genny was framed in a sea of powder blue bridal  party attire with sweet heart neckline,  creating a soft glow for her beautiful fall wedding.
As opposed to selecting the bouquets to be in contrast with the attire, she selected the flowers to compliment the dresses.  For her two maid of honors, she chose their bouquets  to be several shades darker
